Reason:momentum. Sorenson has stunk most of the year, only two races where he finished better than 27th, until about a month ago. The last three finishes: 15th, 7th, 9th. He even finished 12th at Chicago in the Cup Series last week, his second best for the year. Has had success here in previous two starts(4th last year and a win in '05) and think he is a dark horse for the win tonight.
4.00 units Scott Wimmer(+210@thegreek)over Carl Edwards
What the hell is Olympic thinking?! No way this line should be this high. Wimmer has been very competitive in this RCR machine all year(8 top 10's, 4 Top 5's) and has had good history here in equipment not as good as what he is in now(6th last year for Brewco Motorsports and 8th in '03). Wimmer is driven and determined to get to victory lane(that is expected in this ride) and tonight may be the night.
3.00 units Brad Coleman(-155@thegreek) over David Ragan
Have been really impressed by this 19 year old. Coming off two Top 5's in his last two starts. Why shouldn't I think that he will be at least Top 10 in this race. Not crazy about the high price though.
3.00 units Ron Hornaday(-110@bodog) over JJ Yeley
Anytime you take Hornaday you're playing with fire. If he can make it through the entire race he normally gives you a good finish. Its just that, quite often, he doesn't see the checkered flag. Driving for Kevin Harvick I think he has a good shot at a Top 10 and against Yeley that is probably all you need. Yeley has yet to post a Top 10 finish in 2007.
